Can you help?
On Sunday 13th September I’ll jumping from a plane to take part in the Skydive For Sue 2026 event.
My fundraising target is £1,000 and any donation , no matter how small, will be gratefully received and put to good use by this excellent charity.
In Sue’s Name was established as a fundraising charity in memory of Sue Blasotta, who passed away in 2011 from brain tumours at the age of 42, leaving behind two young children. Her devastated father, David Taylor, was determined to honour her memory by raising funds for brain cancer research.
David was shocked to learn that despite brain cancer killing more children and under-40s than any other cancer, only 1% of the government’s cancer research funding goes to brain cancers. Our charity launched in 2014 to raise awareness, funds, and provide support for those affected by brain tumours.
Our Mission
Our goal is to raise £1 million by 2027 to support critical research at the Blizard Institute in Whitechapel, the Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence at Queen Mary University of London. Alongside raising research funds, we aim to unite families who have lost loved ones to brain cancer.
